Maram* and her family fled Syria and moved to Lebanon as a result of ongoing conflict. They were unable to afford the rent in the city and so were forced to move up to the mountains, 1700ft above sea level. The freezing cold temperatures have forced the family to rent a house in the town for winter which they can barely afford. With no money left for food or fuel to heat their home, the family depend on their thermal blankets to stay warm and safe.
